Decided to swap housings on my P'9981 and ended up mixing colors. I hadn't seen this around before and thought it looked pretty cool.

How??? Everyone on here swapping parts like it's no big deal. White with the black buttons is amazing. Can you do that in the Q10??

You just have to be patient with these phones when taking them apart. Similar to most Blackberrys.

I've never taken apart a Q10 though so Im not sure how much work is involved.

You have either tremendous balls or a load of disposable income! Good job, dislike the black one but totally dig the silver one.

haha I was a little nervous in the beginning but its really simple actually once you see how its put together. The only screws are the 6 that are on the backplate.

Blackberry could so easily make these phones at an affordable price and this is all it would need to get back in the game. Great looking phones with great quality materials for people who prefer such. Simple and effective.

But then that would defeat the purpose of a BlackBerry and porche partnership.

I would be careful with ordering from China, sometime the fit isnt that good which makes the job a lot harder than it needs to be. Very to the 9900 to take a part so you could watch a video of that to get familiar with what to expect.
