Wondering if someone can help with an issue I'm having with my P9981 running on 7.1.

Whenever I use a headset on it, that includes a Microphone to speak into, I get feedback through the microphone. In other words, with my Bold 9900, I plug the headset in and can have a conversation with the other party, and they only hear the sound of my voice going into the microphone. But on my P9981, I hear wind, and the sound of the Microphone rubbing against my coat. On my Bold 9900, I don't hear wind, or the sounds of the microphone rubbing against my coat. On my Bold 9900, and 9930, the microphone isolates my voice and sounds from my ear piece, but on the P9981, everything comes though. I'm using a blackberry headset below. And I know it's not the headset thats the issue..., but I'm wondering if anyone can help. Maybe it's a specific file I need to load, etc?

Sounds like a noise cancellation issue. BlackBerry devices have noise cancellation features. Sounds like yours might be broken.
