Hi, I decided to go back to the p9981.
On Tuesday I will buy one. I think the black one.
Does anybody know if the pd store in Berlin has qwerty devices there?

    Thanks.

And yes..... I need to activate the bb option again with my carrier.

I have the q10, p9982, z30 and an iphone and an HTC one m8.

I don't know why, I had the p9981 and sold it. Then I switched to the q10. Last month I bought the p9982. But the p9981 is much nicer. I know it's old, old os. But it has a keyboard. Also for me the bold 9900 was and is the best bb.

sorry to hear that. I guess I'm always surprised when I see people going back to legacy devices after trying BB10.

I got a Q10 last May, it's my 7th blackberry, all qwertys, and i find it the best... but yes many of us prefer BBOS7 overall.

good luck in finding your P9981!

Almost every PD shop has silver and black in stock; in almost every keyboard version (German, English, Arab, Russian) available. Only gold would have to be ordered according to Hamburg.

If you just want to "try" it at first or your carrier isn't fast enough, get a simple Vodafone prepaid card as they all have BIS support.

I personally don't prefer BBOS over BB10, but if it wasn't for camera, battery and the hub I too wouldn't have gotten a Q10.

Sure it's a very very nice phone but I still love my P'9981 in a very special way

Very nice phone! Personally, I enjoy typing on the 9900 best! The overall feel of it is unmatched, even by the Q10! Enjoy the porsche design!

Tried the P9982 too but I went back to P9981, the aesthetic of the p9981 with the detailing of the keyboard is something that sold me to it. The P9982 is nice but I don't like BB10 icons. Use both phones so you have the best of both

that's usually the network provider's issue, they should be able to put you back to BIS service, I was originally using the blackberry internet service till I switched to blackberry 10, then I requested to put me back to BIS for blackberry. Hopefully you get that sorted soon

Have you checked if there are still any IT policies installed? Maybe you accidentally reloaded them with a backup.
