    when placed phone 9981 docking station, included clock and keyboard backlight is turned on or permanently or cyclically switched on and off at different times, sometimes works. I know what is right keyboard backlight should be switched off in the dock .In what could be the problem?

    Don't know of any "dock" specific settings. But in the Keyboard settings you can turn off/on Backlighting and set how long it stays on after inactivity.
