I want to know if 9981 OS will be upgraded to BB10? Is any 4G version coming up?

good question. it has been said that any os7 phone is not bb10 compatible. sorry I don't know about 4g though. the os will still be supported though. so if the radio is compatible then a future upgrade could support it. probably up to the carriers.

back to your other question though, you will need the new phones for bb10

I am sure that other better OS can be written to support the hardware of the P'9981 or make the P9981 a different phone that RIM and its customers can be proud of. Perhaps, a similar UI like that of the QNX can be written for the P'9981. After all, how many PREMIUM blackberry will there be for RIM. As with any other company, you would want your premium product to have the best OS and be the flagship of the company. It is like BMW making a 760Li and then having their lower end 540i having better features than the 760Li...........what a joke it would be isn't it?
