When I google search all I see are people looking for this. Nobody ever answers the question. I guess the Curve cant get it. Even if there was a game like it with a different name would be good. Im surprised no one has found a way to load it. Oh well

I know I love this game. I was playing with it on my friends phone this weekend and since then have been looking frantically but with no success for it or even a similar one as harleyd68 said. I just want something like it. It was sooo much funn!!
Hope someone knows a place we can find it.

Well this is a bummer. I thought this sounded kind of cool, but I suppose I can't get it for my Curve 8310.....hmmm....and I have OS 4.5

I was able to extract the .cod(s) for Word Mole from the 4.6 OS for the 8350i, a device with the same size screen, and tried installing them on my 8330--I'm running a 4.6/5.0 hybrid, and was hoping that maybe by some stroke of luck it'd work, but I still can't get it to show up.

It shows up in the applications/modules in the options, but not as an icon on the main screen. I was going to try installing net_rim_device_games_api as well from 4.6, but I'm not sure if that would conflict with anything else.

The Word Mole .alx in 4.6 claims that all it requires is net_rim_device_wordmole_resources, resources_en, resources_es, resources_fr, sounds, and graphics_320x480. Obviously it also needs something deeper within OS 4.6. =\

I suppose the only way I'll be able to play it is through one of the BlackBerry Device Simulators on ma' PC. =\

(I might also ask in the hybrid forum if one of the main Hybrid-makers for the 8330 can figure out what it needs to get it to run.. but I'm not going to get my hopes up again. )

wouldnt you think that RIM would figure out that they could make some serious $$ by making a Word Mole version for the older Blackberrys?!?!?!?

If you own a 8330 and don't mind stepping on a limb of faith, you can install OS 5.0 from the Beta/Hyrbird Discussion Thread. After that go to 8520 games - themes add-on and you can add word mole, sudoku, klondike and texas hold 'em 2 if you want. I did it running a weeedbirdman's hybrid OS .230/.238 and everything plays like a champ on my Curver
