Glad I read this post, i never knew how to close it either, would always just use the red end button which would leave it running in the background!!!

Yeah.. but you need to hit the 'back' key TWICE. one gets you to the menu thing, then again takes you out.

Hitting the escape button just sends the app to background. - had to do a battery pull to shut the damn thing.

I can't ever shut it down either. Once you start it, its running in the background until I pull the battery!!!

The game will close after you hit the arrow botton next to your trackpad/trackball at least twice. Hitting the red button will leave it running in the background.
