I'm at 21 now. It is a joke like someone else said. The goats are supposed to break through wood and hay bales, or make them explode as the game maker says, but they hit just a little harder than pigs do.
The developer really needs to do some debuging with this game.

Call me a sore loser but I'm already having buyer's remorse having retried level 6 like 20 times to no avail

I guess its not bad for 5 bucks, just wish it ran a little smoother so you can quickly reload and retry an annoying level (like 6) till you get it done!
Anybody got tips for level 6 please share..

I'm really intrigued by this game.. but the price tag of £4.15, the laggy gameplay video posted on YouTube by smarterapps and all the mixed reviews are putting me off.
Would anybody be able to help me with a way of 'trying out' the game without first having to buy it?
I own a Torch 9800. - 02-28-2011, 11:24 AM #106
Agreed.
I really enjoy angry birds on my PS3/PSP, and would surely buy it if it was available on BB. Since it's not I'm really interested in this and if it was, lets say $2, I'd just take a chance on it, not knowing how well it will perform on my Torch. Maybe $3...although $5 is getting steep for a game that seems to have obvious performance issues. Plus I know upgrades/updates are free for life, but who knows how often, or how many upgrades will actually be available?
If there was a trial, of even the first board or 2 it would help me greatly. I'd give it a try and decide from there. Although with numerous people saying it's really laggy maybe they're smarter not having a demo...instead they get your $5 first?
Maybe I'll just wait a few weeks and see what happens with it and decide if I want to put $5 on it at that point. I do really want it, but if it performs like the videos I watched on youtube I just feel like I'd be annoyed by it after a few levels. - 02-28-2011, 12:25 PM #108

This game kinda sucks compared to angry birds. Terrible physics, and the animations are pretty bad. I mean, the pigs don't even roll around, they just kind of slide. Sad that this is all Blackberry games are capable of without openGL

I enjoyed this game...with a little luck and persistence, I beat it this morning...now what do I do? OH yeah...work and other stuff...cool.
tips: pigs bounce, cows pick up speed when you click the trackpad, chickens release eggs with click, and I think goats explode with click on impact...I think that's what goats do...Not Baaaaa-d though.

I've had this game about 5 days now and am addicted! I'm now stuck on the infamous level 14.
On my storm2, the game does have some slowness issues. I run it with the sound off as the music just sounds weird, like it's been slowed down. I've also noticed that sometimes, when a level is restarted, parts of the building start moving or falling down before I've even fired my first shot!
I've noticed that you can tap the screen to quickly reload for your next shot and to quickly restart the level after your last, however, this doesn't always seem to work and sometimes the level restart glitches and just keeps flashing every few seconds with no ammo lined up. Have to press esc to load the level again.
Other than that, great and addictive game, can't wait for the update with some major bug fixes.
Someone should make an 'Angry Berries' game where you have to fend off invading apples and androids! LoL! - 03-02-2011, 05:29 PM #117

The goats don't do anything, they are like red birds in Angry Birds, I checked the support site for Angry Farm:
The current version of Angry Farm has 4 different kinds of animals that can be used to launch at the foxes. Below is an explanation of what each of the animals does.
Goat - The goat is a hard headed animal and is used to crash through objects. The goat uses no special power ups when clicked it is the first line of attack against the invading pirate foxes.
Pig - Pigs have curly tails and like to bounce. Use the pig in situations where they have to bounce around objects to get to the foxes. They aren't very powerful but are effective for getting around objects with their bounce without a click.
Chicken - The chicken lays eggs like any other chicken. However this chicken shoots out eggs as it fly's through the air letting you break multiple things at once. Not as powerful as the cow but still very effective with most objects.
Cow - The cow is the heavy and super charged animal. When clicked the cow will have a burst of speed and smash through everything. Theres not much that can stop a large super fast flying cow.

Then they wouldn't sell much. I'd never have paid more than $1 for this the way it is. They're capitalizing on the demand, knowing everyone's so desperate for Angry Birds on BB they'll buy anything like it for 3 times what it's worth.
Millions of dollars for Smarter Apps, but they should rename themselves Smarter Marketing, because that's what's smart, not the apps.
