Angry Birds
As I have an Iphone as well as a few Blackberry Phones, i get to compare what's available on App Store and App World.
I recently saw Angry Birds, Angry Birds Season, Angry Bird Space, Angry Birds Star Wars, Angry Birds Rio all for $0.99 ea. on App Store.
When I checked on App World: Angry Birds, Angry Birds Season, Angry Birds Rio are $4.99 ea. and Angry Birds Space for $2.99!!! Why?!?!
We are being charged up to 5 times the price!!
RIM, I want it on my BB Playbook and BB smartphones. The pricing is not competitive and we are somewhat losing out. I wonder if Team Blackberry is paying attention here and what other apps are we being overcharged?!?
I would hope that they would make some changes here so we can support & help grow App World (RIM) and the vendors sales!
Can someone explain this? Is there really a good explanation for this?
Looking forward to hearing from anyone!
Cheers,

Re: Angry Birds
Free on the Google play store :) on my s3.
It would say free if I didnt install it.
Competitive pricing would be nice as I do own a playbook and a 9900.

I think it's just a conspiracy to stick it to those BlackBerry owners every chance they get :).

Wow, free on Android! RIM should pay attention to this as this will reflect on other Apps (not just games). Thanks inthemix9.
Blaze or Kevin, you may want to look into this a little deeper! We may find some interesting GEMS!:D

Re: Angry Birds
Not necessarily RIM's fault; supply and demand causes the prices to be so high. RIM could subsidize apps (and I believe it does), but that could get expensive over time.

I understand what your saying, but if they want to grow, the pricing has to be in line with the competition. When other platforms are offering Apps for free, they should get cracking at enabling us to get these apps for at least the same price or even at a $1 more, but not 5 times the price.
