Alright, i'm starting to get pretty frustrated trying to put games and apps on my BB curve 8310 via my data cable. I've tried dling .alx files and transferring them using the device manager. I've also tried putting .jar/.jad on my BB since that's what many websites say to do... device manager wont recognize those files. Finally, i've tried converting .jar files to .alx but if the app/game does run on my BB i have to figure out which buttons do what and its just not worth it.

If anyone has any tips or websites that can make this process easier and more successful it would be greatly appreciated!

jar/jad files you need to d/l to your phone from the web not use the device manager.

whats the error when using the alx/cod files via device manager? mine load when i do it that way

They either won't run or they are the wrong size and the buttons are random and almost impossible to use. I think i just havent been able to find ones that are actually for the 8310
