BB 9900 is replacing my iphone for a while and I upload a lot of Vids and when I got this phone I was able to upload 2 vids but now I am getting this error 2 weeks later. I read other threads about logging out first and then making sure to "upload to Youtube" when you are not IN but highliting ON the video from the album, THEN logging in but still not working. I have been traveling and would really like to direct upload from the BB like I used to always be able to.

any other tricks I can try.

i am using the BB Youtube app that came with the cell and it always worked great in my older 9780 and 9790

thoughts?

there is one other youtube "uploader" app under the "Best of 2015" in App World but it sucks and cannot be verified even after logging into Gmail and allowing "less secure devices" temporarily.

I've determined it is the wifi where I am visiting. Under WIFI settings it says there is a way to connect WPS manually by pressing some "security" button on the router and connecting but I am connected so not sure how this affects Youtube, but the vids can wait

ive been reading about this more and I wonder if it could have to do with "PROXY TLS" not allowing my youtube to connect.

ok someone who had this cell before me downloaded Amazon music to it and put a default name that is locked under the Trusted Certificates" so I am not able to allow Youtube uploads (but the app works to watch)

i did a total security wipe but I cant get rid of his Key in the TLS certificate area.

got rid of his key for the amazon music by changing the Keystore password but now do not have the option to enable TLS to add a trusted website

tried the APN settings under Advanced,(TCP IP) and that didnt work. from researching this setting every carrier has their own thing to put under "username" and "password" and for Rogers you use "internet.com" and check the 2 boxes off. No dice, but APN is supposedly important for when certain websites dont load or work properly

My Youtube now works perfectly for uploading directly from the Bold 9900. I have no idea why it would not upload while in my hometown but I'm glad it works where I need it the most!
