    Now before you go flamming me for not using the search feature, I have, and cannot find someone who's had this exact error message ... so please help. I get a message "net.rim.device.api.system.ControlledAccessExcepti on"

    Any ideas?

    I use the app...regularly. Never received this (or any other) error.

    Maybe uninstall, battery pull, and reinstall the app.

    I have the same problem. Just installed YouTube yesterday. Haven't researched yet.

    I fixed this by going to Options-Advanced-Apps and allowing YouTube more permissions. Works fine now.
