When I opened the app today it asked me to agree to the terms of services again and now shows the prices in euros. I can't figure out how to get it back to showing dollars.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

Does the App store not chance to the currency of the county you are registered.

When I first got the store it was in $ then when I logged in it became .

    That's funny.

    Maybe check your registration details.

It's actually showing euros (). I check my settings and don't see anything that allows me to change the currency.

    Go to My World option.

Once you have done that click log on.

That's done the job for me turning it from $ to .

I suppose if you try this I might take it from € to $ for you.

If that still doesn't work, try uninstalling App world and reinstall it again.

That's all I can think off.

Let's hope someone elso out there can help more.

I have tried downgrading the app, also uninstalling and re-installing it twice. I tried to login through Paypal, but it still showed the same currency symbol. I then went to the forums on the Blackberry website and someone in the forums there posted that taking out the sim card would do the trick.

    It did.

I don't think you understood my last post. I took the SIM card out of the phone and that fixed the issue. Apparently RIM is aware of the bug and are already working on it. As long as my SIM card is not in the handset then the "$" symbol will show.

It seems you beat me to my reply. I read your last post and replied to it but I didn't press the post button.

You must have posted again then I sent my post.

Sorry about the misunderstanding there but the main thing is that the problem is now fixed.

Yes it is fixed temporarily as it is. It can be a bit annoying when these little things come about, but I'll take the temporary fix. Thanks for responding, I appreciate it.

I pretended to buy an app and logged into my paypal account. The application will confirm your currency type and ask you a final confirm message, instead of buying the app, just exit out and your currency is fixed.
