So looking at my twitter feed, I noticed that Yelp! finally gave BlackBerry users some love. They upgraded to 2.0, which gives us the ability to "check in", submit pictures, and even draft a review. On the previous version all we could do was read existing reviews. Now BlackBerry users have the same ability as other platforms.

Does the search by me function only work when you enter a ZIP or city? I would have thought it would be integrated with the phones GPS.

Or am I doing something wrong?

(Have allowed all permissions, rebooted after install etc etc)

It works for me, it defaults to "Current Location"

Just updated to 2.1 in app world

didn't receive the notification for the upgrade yet, but looking at the reviews on AppWorld it seems like the location issue I am having is hitting a few other users as well. Hope that the update fixes it.

Anybody know if Yelp 2.1 works properly on the Storm 9550?

When I upgraded to 2.0 the GPS location didn't work. Managed to get rolled back to version 1.3 which works fine.

Upgrade to 2.1 fixed the GPS issue for me.

It does take an annoingly long bit of time to start up but once it does the GPS works well.
