"We have had some request for a Mac version, but so far not enough requests to justify our cost to write one.
So if we wrote a Mac version how many people would by Blurts Pro?"
So if enough people are here that will use this software, then they will develop it. In case you haven't heard of Blurts Pro, then I would highly suggest you check them out! It has live updates from your phone that show up on your computer. You are able to respond to these updates from your pc as well. It is awesome for those who don't want to grab the berry every time it buzzes. Now you won't have to, it will come up on your computer screen instead.
Looks interesting.
I'd have to try it out.
Normally the BB sits on the desk where I can see it.
It would be pretty cool to be able to just leave it in the case.
I already own it and I'd like a Mac version. I use a G5 as my primary desktop at work. That said, it seems like you ought to be able to kill two birds with one stone and make an X11 version. Then it could run on other platforms as well.

You might get a better response if you posted this in the Third Party Apps forum. Even though I am a Mac user I barely check this particular sub-forum unless I am looking for help with a Mac specific problem.
This program is great and I just can't believe that only 5 people would be interested in seeing it developed for the Mac.
I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to have Blurts Pro on my Macbook! I used Blurts Pro all the time on my Windows PC but when I got my macbookpro I had to leave Blurts behind. If there was a blurts for Mac that would be AMAZING!
I run Blurts Pro on my mac using Parallels Desktop. I would love a native Mac version - it's a pain to fire up Parallels every time I want to use it (and I do daily)....make this happen?
I would love to see this happen as well. Unfortunately there has to be a big enough need for them to make it, and based upon the small number of responses to this thread; there isn't.
