Nice Dave, I've literally been thinking about deleting weatherbug completely because of the memory leak. I love the icon and the link taking me to weather.com for the forecast is perfect and all I need. One question though, I know you are having it search by zip code but I travel quite a bit and don't know what the zip code of the city I'm in most of the time. Could there possible be a city search as well? if not its not a huge deal I could probably just bookmark some website to find that info. I really don't want it to use the gps being that it will take away from having a small app.
I would for sure pay a dollar for this. I also agree that a DMG mailing list would be awesome.
You should probably save The Weather Channel Mobile in your favorites then. I even made a short url for you, just go to www dot bit.ly/miniweather and enter your info and you will get a zip code for your city if there is no city search in the app....
Hey, will it work on other models besides the Storm? I'll pay for it too. 8900 here.
It will, but the icons will be a little distorted. I will release different versions for different phones though. The code will work just fine, but the icon sizes are a little different.
Screw buying your apps DMG!!! Why can't I just buy you?? I'll be a patron of application development like Cosimo de Medici and you can be like Michelangelo. You can come live in my house and we can have slumber parties and you can make me stuff. Come on it'll be fun!!!
I guess if you work in a place without windows and need to know if it is too coold to go outside and stand around with the other nicotine addicts...what ever happened to looking out the window?
I'd buy it....and it looks great...when will it be available for download?
Hope fully tomorrow =)

Yeah I have it setup and pulling data already. I just need to setup the options page.

There are plenty of other times to use this app lol. I like being able to see how warm / cold it is when I wake up. Looking out the window when you first wake up kills your eyes, same with a computer screen.

Whatever happened to corded phones? Times change, bud.
just a suggestion, but maybe have an option to open either weather.com or accuweather for the zip code. i find accuweather to be more accurate in my area...
