I have been tyring to get teh Worldmate travel app to work on the Storm 2, using Wifi only. It does not seem to have a selection for that or verizon. I am not in a data service area but do have Wifi and a BIS connection.

I have a trouble ticket with Worldmate and they had me download a connection debug. No info back from them yet.

Has anyone gotten this app to work on the Storm 2?

I have been using WM for several years. Started with the 8820 (World) then went to S1 and now S2. Have not had an issue with the program at all. As for WiFi guess I will have to turn off the radio on the phone and try it.

Just tried the WiFi and it works ok. Had no issues with getting my flight schedule updated. Got weather.

Mine works fine. Free version Storm 2 on Verizon.
I had the app working on the S1 (obviously no WiFi there)

What happens when you try to use it with the Radio off and only WiFi on?

Ok, turned the radio off to force it to wifi. No change. It does not give verizon as a selection to manulay set up. Does anyone know the wap, apn and IP info for VZW? I guess if I was in a data service area it would detect them.
