I just received a notice stating my Worldmate Gold subscription is up for renewal at the end of March. But, I believe Blackberry Travel is free?! What is there in Worldmate Gold that isn't in Blackberry Travel, which is a product of Worldmate?! Why should someone pay for an app if the same app is now free? Am I missing something here?

Seems a no-brainer to me, if you like BlackBerry Travel and it has the same features as Worldmate Gold, then use BlackBerry Travel and cancel the subscription to Worldmate Gold. You can not transfer your subscription.Yes, BlackBerry Travel is free.

I think the reason they kept Worldmate is because of the apps for Android and iPhone. Since a BlackBerry app isn't likely going to end up on an Android or an iPhone, they still needed a separate app.

Yes - that would be my inclination, provided it has the same features. Is there anything that Worldmate Gold does that Blackberry Travel does not?
