    I just got an update for the Windows Live Messenger (2.5.63), but I can't see any change. Is there any changelog for this app?

    It's an update to address changes, I don't think there is any changelog as microsoft won't share it.

    Most of the IM apps are built by RIM...who still doesn't usually issue change logs

    App World notified me of the update, which I installed. However, I am now not able to log into Windows Live Messenger.... When I click on the icon nothing happens. I then need to hold the menu button down and click on home screen to then be able to use my phone again.

    I am a frequent user of WLM, and very experienced in updating OS/installing aps etc.

    Anyone got any ideas? Im on Vodafon UK, Bold 9700, 5.0.0.862.

    I'm downloading it now. Ever consider trying a battery pull? Probably had to do that once in the entire time I had it.
