Windows Live Messenger app not working!

I asked several people and nobody can login into Windows Live Messenger app on BB. Is there a problem with the server? Anything known? Hit me up please!

When I try to log in, says: "Unexpected Server Error. Please try again later."

Does anybody know what happened? Or how to fix this, I deleted the App and tried reinstalling, so far nothing.

Mine's working. I've found that things like this can happen once in awhile. Hasn't happened with my msn, but it's happened with my aim a couple of times. The first time, uninstalling/reinstalling worked, the other time it didn't; the problem simply fixed itself in a couple of days. Could've even been a carrier issue.

Well you're Sprint, now is working, my mom has the same phone and is working too. Some friend who had BlackBerries in other countries and in here reported the same issue yesterday... but I continue with that. Anybody with this problem?

I just checked on another phone, it seems its my email, my brother email account logged in fine, so my mom's... What can it be? Already changed the password. Maybe too many contacts?

WLM, or microsoft's servers, could be having issues. When it happens, people use yahoo, aim, etc.

i am also having problems with my MSN messenger on my storm... i called vzw and the sent me the service books again and that did nothing, i deleted and reinstalled several times and that didnt work, also emailed windows live support and they said nothing was wrong at their end, finally i took it into the vzw store and they said that it had to be a problem with the windows live and to wait it out... so i dont know!! if anyone has any suggestions please please tell me! I NEED MY MSN MESSENGER BACK!!!!!!!!!!!

Msn is working for canadians because I have no problem signing in at all.

Maybe it's certain states or microsoft's servers are going bonkers. Otherwise, let me extend this advice to you in the most simple way possible without you having to create more threads about the same thing.

PLEASE, WAIT IT OUT UNTIL SERVICE IS RESTORED!

Mine didn't sign in yesterday at all. Server MAINTENANCE is the problem and explains why nobody could/can sign in. So use it on your Desktop computer instead. Why use data on your phone anyways.

Hey everybody...this same issue is reported in venezuela, mexico and argentina. Nobody seems to know what's going on. Everybody can sign in into their pc or laptops but when trying in BB we fail.
I've been reading different forums (spanish also) but nobody found a solution so far. Dowloading, refreshing books doesn't seem to work, re installing windows messenger is not the key either.
Carriers doesn't have answers. It has been 3 days I can't sign in so to wait surely is not the answer.

I dowloaded other applications like Nimbuzz which allowed me to sign in (but it's not a very goos appl)

Hope somebody can find solution!

another email from the window live solutions team.... told me to delete my Hotmail account on my phone, pull the battery, reinstall the messenger app and tahhh dahhhhh........ NOTHING!!! i mean why do they even have a solutions team if they cant figure out how to remedy the problem!?!?! its been goin on 4 days without my messenger! im goin crazy!!

Lainydoll, I'm using Nimbuzz but to be honest I don't like it. People on the phone ask me why I don't answer while on line wirh Windows Messenger (Nimbuzz) but I don't received any message!
Sometimes it works fine!

Hope they find a soilution soon!

IM HAPPY TO REPORT THAT NOW WORKS!!! JUST OUT OF THE BLUE AT 8:00pm EST USA, I EVEN CREATED ANOTHER EMAIL ACCOUNT, AND AFTER TRYING A WHOLE LOT OF THINGS (EVEN WIPING MY PHONE).

GUYS, JUST BE PATIENT, BUT WINDOWS LIVE MOBILE SUPPORT MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP YOU AND FREE.

I'm having issues with my Bold 9700, I have AT&T, and everytime I try to log in it tells me I have an invalid email or password and I have been using the email and password for a long time on my laptop and I've never had an issue. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!!

It might be something like the app forgetting how to process the information, or BIS, or msn is having issues with passport.net or their transition from passport.net is confusing most apps. Can't fix the problem as I don't know what microsoft is up to.

I have not been able to log into my windows live on my BB since late last night...its driving me nuts! I keep getting "The servier is busy. Please try again later." Everything else seems to work fine on the phone! It works fine on my desk top.
So frustrating

And I am in Canada in the GTA.

I'm having the same problem for the past 3-4 days! Keep getting the 'server busy' message! I'm from Malaysia and I've checked with some of my friends here, they're MSN is working fine! Even my carrier said its not their problem, must be the app that acting up! Omg! What to do?! I've deleted and reinstalled the app like 10 times but its still thje same!!
