When I switched from telstra to vodafone my phone suddenly gained apps. One of which was the windows live app.
I find that its much better than many of the other free msn apps iv used, but it doesn't show my app groups.

Is there any way to get it to group my contacts like they are on my PC, or is there a free app which is as good or better?

i don't think there is a way to show grouped contacts, you might have to use an alternative app, like the beejive app (which is like $30 or something) i don't think its really worth it.

There might be an option to do this using the menu key you can bring up the options for the app.

I don't use that app, but I know the AIM and Yahoo ones have options.
