And will it work well with, or conflict with, "proximity sync"? I just want a reliable backup -- don't want to reinvent the wheel -- but I've got a Mac, not a PC. Want to keep Blackberry's system working well and not conflict with it.

I've read Google Sync was far preferable to Missing Sync, but recent positive comments about Missing Sync with Blackberry/Mac.

I am just going to use pocketmac to sync contacts and calendar w/ my macbook pro. I have desktop manager installed on my pc, too.

I asked the mac section a couple of days ago. Considering that I keep a google calendar and contacts on google I'm just going to be using google sync and forego trying to sync with the computer because like you said, I want to keep everything running in good condition.
