Will BlackBerry App World run on WiFi and not just 3G/4G?
I remember reading that BlackBerry App World only ran via the carrier network and not on WiFi. I also remember that RIM was trying to make it do-able to download apps via WiFi. Does it now? I mean this wouldn't be a huge issue for me since I am still on the grandfathered in unlimited data plan, but I would just like to know.

Alright thank you guys...this might've been with BB6 or an earlier version of BlackBerry App World.

I'm trying to activate a previous BlackBerry and I can't get AppWorld to connect.
Keeps saying..
"BlackBerry App World is having trouble connecting to the BlackBerry App World server. Verify your network connections and try again."
I keep getting this message over 3G as well as WiFi.
Edit: Uninstalled the previous version of AppWorld, then reinstalled the newer version. Works now.Last edited by cdf3; 07-19-2012 at 09:50 AM.
