why is wikitude not available for other bb's like my torch?
it is out there for other phones and being released on the new bb's.
what about the app for us already here?
The Wikitude app that will be preloaded on the Bold 9900/9930 and presumably the Monaco/Monza and Torch2 will not work on older BlackBerry models because it requires a magnetometer (digital compass) and the augmented reality camera overlay APIs which are part of OS 7.
so what does the torch use to read when you tilt it?
Personally, I don't believe the Torch will get the full OS7 experience. Correct me if I'm wrong, but does the Torch even has an accelerometer or a digital compass?
I think this part will be left out in OS7 for the Torch due to hardware limitations.
