Free BlackBerry Torch Slider 9800 Wikitude World Browser Software Download
The Wikitude app that will be preloaded on the Bold 9900/9930 and presumably the Monaco/Monza and Torch2 will not work on older BlackBerry models because it requires a magnetometer (digital compass) and the augmented reality camera overlay APIs which are part of OS 7.

Accelerometer and digital compass are required to use Wikitude.
so what does the torch use to read when you tilt it?
Personally, I don't believe the Torch will get the full OS7 experience. Correct me if I'm wrong, but does the Torch even has an accelerometer or a digital compass?
I think this part will be left out in OS7 for the Torch due to hardware limitations.

has anyone installed this app on its bb 9800? if someone did do it, can u pls tell me if its worth it and how to install? i tried several ways but i couldnt

man, so they final released an OS6 version, but i find it lacking hugely to the point i not sure i want it on my phone. oh well time to play around with it.
