    I wasn't aware of this until my son got an upgrade on his iPhone that he gets to use AT&T's Telenav for free while us Blackberry users have to pay nearly 10 dollars a month. Why is that, anyone know? Also, hate the fact that Blackberry maps is not allowed on AT&T system...

    My guess is...

    Blackberry = Corporate = $$$ available
    iPhone = Consumer = $ available, so need more customers

    There is no Telenav on the iPhone. Period. No app for it exists. There's just a GPS maps program that comes on it free.To answer your question, I don't know why the iPhone has a pre-installed GPS program. dervari is probably right.
