In 36 hours my memory has fallen from 34.9 to 13.1 so according to you who is responsible ?
thanks for the answers
well all i know i was starting around 37 averaging around 29 all day long until i added stormslider 2 days ago and now i keep floating around 10 and the only app i added is Stormslider and the reason i still kept it because i spent 2.99.
storm slider is probably the least of your worries he has been updating the crap out of it and I have had no memory issues with it yet i am running the Paid version. I would suspect Facebook, then any app that is using your connection to update ie. weatherbug, weather berry etc....

My Memory improved DRAMATICALLY (both at initial boot as well as the leak) when I wiped, ran shrink-a-os and re-installed. Pretty sure some of the unneeded RIM added features have not severe but decent memory leaks.

I was having the same problems and believed it was stormslider. It might have been but so many new versions of it make this hard to know. But I had unbelievable improvement by using the "Build-a-hybrid" update program of Lyricidal. My memory has never been better (always stays in high 30s or low 40s) and the battery has been much better.
Lyricidal recommends certain settings. His recommendation of the .109 radio might have been the real secret to my improvements.
Just a thought.... I've consistently seen my memory hover between 15-20. I've done battery pull and within half a day I've gone from 30 down to 15. I've seen it drop to nearly 10 and then suddenly pop up to nearly 20. I've let it sit for days and didn't see any further degradation.
Does anyone really know if it matters how much memory is available/used? Could it be the OS is managing the memory and when it hits a pre-defined level it aggressively frees up memory, but otherwise it doesn't really give much concern? Are people looking at and being concerned over a relatively insignificant relative number?
