Hey all,

So I dl'd the where app for my 8130 and when it tries to locate me on the gps it searches and searches and cant locate me. I have enabled the gps from 911 only to Location on, but it still isnt working!

Any ideas?

Are you inside a building? Try going outside to get a clear line of sight to the sky for GPS to get a satellite lock.

im running whatever came with the phone. havent changed the OS, not sure i'd know how anyways lol.

GPS currently only works with VZ Navigator. The latest beta OS's support the use of BB Maps. Sorry to break it to you, but you won't be able to get Where to work on Verizon.

You have to update to the newest device software. Once I updated my wifes Pearl last week the BB maps GPS works great. We're on the Verizon network.
