So I got the Bold 9780 (T-Mobile) last week and there's this app called WHERE (www.where.com) in my homescreen that I can't get to work. Everytime I click on it and accept the "blackberry virtual preload agreement" I'm being taken to T-Mobile's site that says the app is not supported for my device. Same thing happens in Blackberry App World.
My question is why would it be pre-loaded if it's not supported by my device? Has anyone gotten this to work on their 9780? If so, what's the trick? If not, do you have any recommendations for a similar app?
A new version of WHERE for the Bold 9780 was released to T-Mobile. It appears as if the build has not made it through to the T-Mobile site. We are currently following up with our T-Mobile representative about this issue.
