What is your "can't live without" 3rd party apps??
I'm really loving QuickLaunch and Weatherbug.

How does Weatherbug work? I don't have a data plan and am looking for a weather app that is free and doesn't use data if that is even possible. Doesn't sound right to me but figured I'd try.

It's great. It gives you an icon on your BB home page. Just click on it and it gives you current weather conditions for the area you picked, it gives you long term forecasts, weather alerts and actual photos that are taken at the location you picked. The graphics are great too. I think I'm especcially enjoying it today because we are currently getting over a foot of snow in Cleveland, Oh. right now. And the best part....it's free

answer to what is QuickLaunch
It's an application I found on this sight. QuickLaunch is an icon that you can make as one of your side convenience keys. You press the button and applications that YOU pick show up in a list. Like "call home", or "SMS John". It cost $4.99. Here is a link. Read more here...
