What the heck happened to Google Maps app? Is it discontinued?

OK, I sold my malfunctioning Storm2 and replaced it with another Storm2. I am now installing Apps I had before and cannot find the awesome Google Maps app I used to have. I used it constantly. But all my searching results in every kind of Googlish app OTHER than the one with the maps.

WTF am I doing wrong?

BlackBerry Storm2. Updated software.

Never mind. I finally figured out that Blackberry apps doesn't even have it and that I have to go to Google's mobile site. How ludicrous.

It was always on the mobile site of google.

Just like Amazon. Their apps are only available from their mobile site too. Except for the Amazon MP3 app.

Yeah this was ******* annoying but the answer was lying on crackberry other thread, somone just figured that it can be downloaded from the site in Blackberry Browser
