Sorry for my ignorance, hopefully some can help. I had a 9700 and tethered it with my mac using a bluetooth dun workaround, but it was painfully slow and completely inconsistent. Data and tethering is very important to me, which is why I jumped on the 4G bandwagon and switch to an Android phone.

However, I recently broke that phone and believe the time is right to come back to BB. I will be getting the new bold on tmobile when it comes out this year. YAY! I am so excited, not only does it look superb but it also packs awesome hardware. OS 7 should run great!

Anyway lol...my question is what is the best method of tethering? Is it still the Tether app? Keep in mind I will be on Tmobile and need a cross-platform program. I will be using Lion and Win7.

    Thanks for helping!

The best of the best is "Tether for BlackBerry"
You can find it here, Tether for BlackBerry v1.4.4.4
It's simple and very fast, try it first 7 days you like it.

My vote for tether also. Seems to go on sale for half price every so often too.

I like tether best too, but fixmo connect is also pretty good and they's a few free-ish apps too. Try all the trials.
