I have recently accuired an 8703e with Verizon service. An accuweather icon shows up with the weather from a couple of states over. I have been unable to edit location or permanately remove that icon. I could use some further assistance.
Try going to options>> advanced options>> applications>> hit menu>> modules>> search for it there, and highlight it, menu>> delete. and battery pull afterwards.
