Been having the same issue on and off today, could be related to the possible outage.

There've been BIS issues since late last night for many. Had the same problem earlier, myself.

Speaking of facebook, anyone know why when I post a comment on facebook, there is no indication that I am posting from the Blackberry with the BB icon? All my other friends, went they post, that 'Posted from Blackberry' shows up, however its just a normal post for me even when I'm on a Blackberry...

I have the same problem here but I was clearing service books to completely remove an email address I don't use anymore and I suspect I may have deleted something that lets the Facebook app connect to the network. Anyone have any suggestion as to what I might have screwed up?

Sounds like in fact you deleted something in your service books you shouldn't have. You need to resend your service books. I use T-Mobile on a 9700 and every time I do a battery pull, they resend the service books. OR you can log on to your account with your carrier using your PC and resend the service books yourself.

Another thing, when you are deleting items in your service book and you delete something you shouldn't, press menu key>undelete. This will undelete the last item you deleted. (On the 9700)

I've done that. Under Settings > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table you can click the Menu key and select "Register Now" and that resends all the service books too but that still didn't fix my problem. It fixed another problem I was having with my browser though, so at least that's fixed.

Register now registers the device on the network but doesn't resend the service books.

Socialscope was reporting that FB was down, so I kinda doubt this is even a BB issue.
