    I want to give OS6 another spin, but since the "thank you" period is over, I can't redownload them again. Can I bring them over to OS6 in any way?

    Also, if I downgrade back to OS5, will they still be there?

    When you upgrade use the backup/restore option with DM or loader.exe and after the upgrade the downloaded apps will be restored.

    Will they function properly? Is there any fundamental difference between OS5 and OS6 that could prevent any of them from running?

    Depends on the app but all should work. I had downloaded the Nobex Radio app while it was free but deleted it and just tried it and I am still able to download so you should be fine with the upgrade but most if not all apps work with 5.0 and 6.0.
