I'm looking around for an app for my cousins 8320 that would allow him to be able to listen instead of read text messages, and be able to talk and have it type for him. The reason for this is because he can't read too well and i've been trying to help him learn, so i thought that with some kind of app like the one i've described would be good not only to help him save some minutes if he get unlimited texts, but can also help him recognize how words are spelled after he speaks them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not aware of an app that does both but I use VLingo for voice to text and other things. It's a really good app once it's "trained" to the voice.

Another app that does text to speech is DriveSafely. Both apps have threads in this section. I'd link ya but haven't figured that one out yet in OperaMini on my Blackberry.

Nope. I think Vlingo is the only app.
