VVM Does not translate your message into text. You are referring to either "youmail" or other PAY applications not sold by Verizon. My understanding of these Apps, is they actually forward your calls to another number (not on verizons network) instead of you voicemail box. The messages are then translated and sent to you via e-mail or text. But, no, not with visual voice mail.
