Which one do you prefer? And are the difference? Right now I have tried viigo and it works for me I guess but its kind of restricting at some level. I haven't yet google reader. I want to know what you think is better to you if you tried both?

I use newsgator. It has a online component and plugins for outlook and the blackberry. All articles read or "clipped" are sync'd back to the server so you don't end up having to read the articles again when you reach your desk are start using the BB. I recommend taking a look at this for RSS feeds.
viigo. google reader is ok, but you have to connect to the internet and fetch the article. viigo download them for you so they are right there when you open the app. I had wanted to like newsgator since it does have a desktop piece, but it was just to slow to update on my bb.
It seems I have made the right choice. I was thinking of trying something different because viigo takes a lot of memory on my pearl.
Thanks for your thoughts.

i use google reader. yes, you have to connect to the internet to download articles, but viigo does that too, just automated. google reader takes no more than 2-3 seconds to fetch my articles.
and while it does that, viigo bloats out of control. google reader is only 25kb and never changes.
I've moved from viigo to google reader (and yes I've used the viigo beta)
While the layout of viigo and its presentation is great, i found that google reader does everything I need out of a reader with less memory resources than viigo.
Also, google reader on my bb syncs when I use google reader on my PC. On viigo you can add google as an aggregator but it doesnt sync articles.
The main reason I want to keep working with Viigo Beta is because I want the updated sports scores, etc. But they have a ways to go to make that feature as useful as I want.
I'm new to the RSS feeds so I dont know the in's and out's to compare apps but I am trying the Viigo Beta 3 and I really dig it. I was using Viigo v2 but v3 blows it away. If any one else is new to the RSS world give Viigo Beta 3 (tango) a try.
When I tried viigo for the first time a few weeks back, I was surprised that under Sports there was no NHL / Hockey. Well they seem to have just added it the other day It's pretty good actually!
