I have'nt been able to find this on the forum. Sorry if its already posted. I have a BlackBerry Storm and I have yet not been able to run Viigo on it . I used to use it when I was on my curve. Since I moved to Storm, I've to live without it.

It installs all great but when I launch it, the software crashes with a "NullPointerException". Any help?

Let me try to help you if I can.

    First a few questions:

    What OS are you running?

What version of viigo are you trying to install?

Did you try a battery pull after you installed it?

    Let me know...

    My OS version is 4.7.0.46
    Viigo version is 3.1.489

And I just did a Battery pull again to be sure.

As soon as I click on the viigo icon in my downloads folder, it shows an error popup saying "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException"

What storm model are you using? Have you considered doing the 5.0 upgrade.

Are you on BIS or BES?

    Few recommendations to try:

Remove Viigo completely and do a battery pull, reinstall.

I really recommend moving to 5.0, it may just solve your problem.

If your using OTA for viigo try a different location to download it from, I know some carriers cache OTA stuff, atleast verizon does when I'm testing stuff from my own hosting.

Well, my network doesnt provide 5.0 yet. How can I upgrade to 5.0? I really want to try that . Moreover, is that gonna brick my Storm or something? Is it safe or is it easy to rollback to current OS?
