I am fairly new to the blackberry. Trying out diffrent free apps. I see allot of people talking about viigo. What exactly is Viigo.

Also any recommendations on free weather app. I have been using weather bug free trial. But it is about to expire. Can't even find out a price to keep it. Love weatherunderground on the computer but can't seem to find a link for a mobile app.

VIIGO is a must.. It is has updates on News, Sports, Entertainment news, weather, movie showtimes, shopping, craigslist. You name it, it has it.. If you don't like it you can always delete it.

Viigo is great. Ended up getting rid of Weatherbug, The Street, AP news and no more going through the browser for movie/flight info.

The down side to viigo is that it is a memory hog, but you can fiddle with the settings and improve things.

Yea Viigo is great to me. And what kind of fiddling do you mean PK? I want to fiddle with it to improve it

me too, I'd use it more if it didn't drain so much memory.

Fiddle with your settings. Go to viigo. options. application. I have no background on close. yes to pics and no to save all. Clear your cache when you exit. Then go to arcticles and limit what is pushed to your phone. Also set your updates to daily. I've had no issues doing it this way.

I tried it. Fiddled with the settings and it was still a memory hog. Mine never seemed to update propery. Needless to say its negatives for me made me delete it.
