Hey guys after my research I have found that my batter is being killed by exactly this app.I have never experienced such problem with earlier versions of viber.Please ,post your reports for compare!Thanks!

Same here. Have BL Anniversary + 1033 base on my 9900. Reverted to Viber 2.4.102.

I guess the difference is obvious?I would have switched to another hybrid,but I saw the usage in the very last moment. Please, provide feedback about your battery.

I have the same issue with Viber 3.0 on my 9900. I have to close it out after I use it or ARM will shut it down anyway.

I have now set ARM to ignore Viber as it shut it down in an important call to the Philippeans from the UK.

Strangely enough, I don't seem to have the same battery issues when I use Viber on my old 9700, but then I guess the battery on that device is so good that the problem doesn't show up.

My wife's 9900 has exactly the same battery drain with Viber. We are both running 1047 OS,

Come on guys, this problem needs addressing in 3.0 and look forward to a reply from Viber.

same here... even bought a new battery cuz I thought it needed replacement... BTW, 9900 (7.1.0.1033) always on GPRS, no WIFI, Bluetooth, and yet battery lasts only for 10 hours (used to be 36)...What to do? wait for new release from Viber or downgrade ?

It is Viber and dont expect any update until the destiny of Blackberry is known.
