The screen on my 8530 went out and Verizon sent me a warranty replacement. When i activated it none of the normal Verizon apps(backup assistant, nfl mobile, city id etc.) showed up. The email setup option is also not showing up and it wont let me use the browser without a wifi connection and mms does not appear. What am i supposed to do.
To me it sounds like you need to get on the phone with Verizon and have them switch your BIS account information from your old phone to your new/refurb'd device. The phone doesn't have data on it right now, hence why your browser doesn't work, so all of the vzw apps aren't being pushed to your new phone. A simple call should do the trick
