My tethering experience on my 8900 have always been painfully slow despite having good coverage. I just got Tetherberry for my Blackberry and my speeds have really increased! It's great! I'm able to watch YouTube (1-2 minutes of buffering) and things like that.
I was wondering if anyone else has used this program with T-Mobile.
didn't want to shell out the fifty bucks for the app....I tether manually. no problems for me, seems fast enough where I'm at. I find my speeds to be 'not irritatingly slow'....
I wonder my speeds were so bad when I tethered manually.
When I tethered, images took up to 4 min to load and my Gmail would take min to load as well...sometimes it would refuse to load after a while!
I have no idea what tetherberry does to improve my speed but I love it!
