Just got the new Bold 9930 on a Sprint Everything Data 450 plan and am thinking about checking out the Tether app so I can use the Internet on my laptop at home. The manual for the app says "some carriers charge for the use of APN data settings." Does Sprint do this?

If they catch you

You might not want to let your device data usage to go from say 1gb a month average all the way up to 4gb a month. Use it sparingly

Also some users have said that if you go over 5gb a month (legal or not) then your account gets red flagged and they will look into your network traffic

I've never been charged for using tether. But I don't use it very often.
