Push notification. So right now, Uber has to go and check for new tweets, replies, mentions, etc., at the interval you specify in the options. I set mine for 20 minutes to avoid impact on battery life.
With the application utilizing the BB push technology, the tweets are pushed to your phone as they come in, like your mail comes into your BB.
It would allow for quicker updates with less battery use.
I was thinking about a version for Andro�d. On the top of the main page of the site, it's now mentioned "download for BlackBerry" it used to be "download".
