This morning I just noticed I now have an extra Google Map icon.
I only had one in the past now I have two. Checked in the applications and it is not listed twice. Any ideas on what I should do. I think I could just delete it and download it again. But I was just checking in with all the brains here first.

Is it in two different locations? like, home folder and download folder? Are they both active icons?

They are both in the home folder and both active.
I moved one into a different folder and launched it from there and it worked. moved it back and forth sill cant it to go away.

might be worth deleting the app and reinstalling. Or, you could try hiding one of the icons.
