    If you're looking for a free app, Ubertwitter is as good as it gets right now.

    The best app in my opinion is SocialScope - but its kind of hard to come by since its in closed alpha.

    Ubertwitter gives you location-aware tweets, the option of posting your tweets as your gtalk status, and top 10 trending terms.

    Enjoy twitter - it rocks my socks.

    +1 for Ubertwitter. There are plenty of posts on the forum comparing some of the recent clients, but Ubertwitter is a very full-featured app and is getting updates regularly.

    All twitter clients are 3rd party app. Guess you've heard that RIM is working on a native twitter client for the BB
