Hello Crackberries,

Last night I deleted my bb app world application since it kept giving a DNS error message. Since this morning I been trying to re-DL the app on my 9700 but the page just refreshes after I click "download app world".

Has anyone encountered this problem or is currently experiencing the same issue? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

yes, getting the email link is no problem at all. it's the part where i actually need to DL the app. The page just refreshes.

Are you running on WiFi? Try disabling it and pulling from your Mobile network.

I've also seen WiFi be the cause of the "DNS" issue in App World. It works fine on WiFi on my home network, but get's that "DNS" issue at work (Where I have set up some pretty tight restrictions on our DNS servers) and with some public WiFi hotspots. Especially if they are using the servers from "OpenDNS.com"

Just something to try.

It has been doing this for me too and also on my friends BlackBerry (different model and carrier), looks to be a problem with the site.

No doubt the entire world (or those that are able to) is DLing.

Worked for me too. We wouldn't have to do this if they would fix the problem with App World disappearing in the first place.
