This morning I received a spam msg promoting this new app. "Michelle" wanted to talk to me about it. Really? It was not BBM, not email, and not even a text - it just showed up on the Messages page. And in red, no less. Has anyone else ever heard of this? If BB is sending me spam I am more disappointed than ever in them.

It's a P2P spam, sent to your PIN. Stop-gap, enable Firewall to block PIN messages if you do not use that anyway. It is not from Blackberry, it's from either the company or some user via their app or by the company themselves owned by Parlor.fm, topictalk.me.
