I know that I need to enable the APN setting to get Tiny Twitter to work (in my case "orangeinternet"), but does that mean that Tiny Twitter uses Orange WAP to connect to Twitter?

(I've just learned that my connection to Orange WAP is not part of my "unlimited" browsing package and I get charged for any data, I therefore may have to go back to TwitterBerry) <-- turns out this was a screw up on Orange's part

How do you go about enabling the APN setting? I can't find the option or menu anywhere.

And is there anyway of using tiny twitter on orange in the uk and not being charged for additional data useage? I'm keen to give tiny twitter a try.

I think it's because Tiny Twitter and Uber Twitter (currently) don't support BIS. You have to make it use your service providers wap connection. There's some info on the Uber Twitter FAQ on how to set it up.
